About me

I love to take naps. Preferably below a tree with a good view of the sky through the canopy.
I can look at plants, trees and birds for hours and hours. If possible I play percussion instruments from time to time. Lately, I have started sketching to kill time and I like to send post cards to friends. I Love traving in general but I have special love for travelling in India.

As scientist

Post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior. I am working on computer vision, machine learning, Augmenred reality(AR), Virtual Reality (VR). Mainly I desing tech solutions to study animals (birds,insects or mammals) in indoor and outdoor environments.

As artist

As part of MELA, I am also an exchange fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude under the FieldTrip initiative. As fellow of schloss, I am currently developing my own art project “Encounters with the Wild”.
